HAF Sub-Framing System

The Horizontal Adjustable Sub-framing System (HAF) is a versatile, thermally isolated aluminum framing system that provides a reliable solution for modern building facades. This non-combustible system complies with NFPA 285 standards and is suited for both vertical panel framing and face fasteners, with an adaptable design for concealed hanging systems where necessary.

KEY ASPECTS INCLUDE:

  • Applications: Engineered for horizontal cladding support.

  • Features: Self-shimming for ease of alignment and includes thermal spacers (Thermostop) made of expanded PVC for thermal isolation, boasting a Class A flammability rating per ASTM E 84.

  • Attachments: Wall brackets are crafted from extruded aluminum with pre-drilled slots for field adjustments and come in a standard width of 2 1/2” (63.5mm).

  • Material and Finish: Extruded 6005A-T5 rails and tracks are available in mill or black anodized finish.

  • Horizontal Carrier Track: Available in stocked lengths of 128” (3251mm) or 144” (3657mm), with options for L-Shape, T-Shape, and custom profiles and lengths.

F2F rail dimensions ensure compatibility with diverse cladding materials, making it a reliable and NFPA 285 compliant solution for updating building exteriors.
